How IoT combined with Machine Learning can change our lives!

Although we have no idea, we are surrounded by sensors. Certainly our smarthpone has a light sensor, accelerometer, gyro, compass, microphone, GPS, camera, etc ... In addition we can also add many more to our home or other spaces of interest.
Through IoT we could have all these devices connected, using an AI (artificial intelligence) to control them. Even better is not having to give them directions. This is where machine learnig comes in.

Firstly, this concept is the "field of study that gives computers the ability to learn without being explicitly programmed" - Arthur Samuel. As such, we may have data predictions.
Let's return to the title of the article. How does this change our life? Imagine having a heart sensor on your smart watch that detects what time you usually go to bed, and that sensor communicates this data to your bedroom lamps that dim as you approach it. In addition, your alarm clock tells you what time it will ring to your blinds, which in turn will gradually rise until the appointed time. All this without having to indicate anything, just let IoT collect the data, transmit it to each other and machine learning learn and detect your routines. This is just one example among many others. A future that is much closer than you think.

Why is IoT allied with Big Data the future of business?

These two technologies together have been the latest "scream" in business benefiting from data science. IoT's incredible data collection capabilities coupled with Big Data's ability to study and analyze huge volumes of data are crucial to meeting consumer wishes. The number of data is increasing and it is impossible to analyze all information in traditional ways. In addition, the type of data, its quality and how it is obtained is increasingly important. These two factors are easily conjugated and dealt with from Big Data and IoT respectively.  why is it so important to collect data and analyze it? To understand the habits and interests of consumers, thus trying to meet them and if possible to predict new trends. This is how we can increasingly target advertising correctly. This is something that companies cannot afford to overlook, most notably the digital retail giants such as Amazon, Ebay, Alibaba ... which often run promotions and special offers based on beha

5G: what is it and how it can change your life

You have certainly heard about 5G, but do you know what it is? It will be the new generation of telecommunications, the 5th to be precise. It all started with 1G that introduced wireless technology, followed by 2G that made it possible to send messages, 3G that made it possible to make long range calls, send text messages and access the internet, while 4G improved download and upload speeds.  So what does 5G bring than? In addition to an optimization of 4G technology, the internet speed will also multiply greatly, reaching 10Gbps (more than optical fiber), it will reduce the response time between network and device (latency) making the response almost real time, but there is something even more necessary, increasing the number of devices supported simultaneously. Besides the appeal that downloading series in seconds and playing video games with very low ping may bring, perhaps the most important thing is it's support of the massive growing number of devices connected to the net
